Getting Started

How do I apply or get started?

Contact us via WhatsApp or the request form. Our team will understand your goals and recommend the right programme, then guide you through every step. No commitment required for a first conversation.

What level of athlete is required?

TSG works with serious, committed athletes at competitive club or academy level, from grassroots and amateur through to academy and elite. We serve individual players and full club squads — contact us and we'll match you to the right programme for your level.

How do I get pricing for my group?

All pricing is customised based on group size, programme type, accommodation choice and selected activities. Send us your dates and squad size and you receive a full, itemised proposal — normally within 48 hours.

How far ahead should we book?

6–8 weeks minimum for stages and short programmes; 3–6 months for long-stay programmes. Tournaments have their own registration deadlines, which close earlier. Contact us as early as possible — spaces are limited.

Which countries does TSG work with?

TSG works with clubs, academies and families across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa, and has delivered programmes on the ground in countries including Colombia, India, Japan and Tanzania. The base of operations is Madrid, Spain.

Stages & Training Camps

What is a football stage with TSG?

A short, all-inclusive training trip for a full squad, based in Madrid: accommodation, full board, transport, daily training and activities, and TSG coordination of everything on the ground. Stages run year-round, from U10 to senior. The stages page covers bases, activities and pricing structure in detail.

Can we combine a stage with a tournament?

Yes — it is one of the most common formats: train midweek and compete at the weekend. TSG builds the combined programme, handles tournament registration and covers both parts under a single package.

Can our own coaches run the training sessions?

Yes. Groups can book a private pitch and run their own sessions, take 90-minute sessions led by UEFA-licensed TSG coaches, or mix both across the week. Many squads use TSG sessions for the Spanish methodology work and keep their own staff in charge of tactical preparation.

Tournaments

What is the Madrid Youth Cup?

The Madrid Youth Cup (MYC) is an international youth football tournament held in Madrid, now in its XIV edition, played from a group stage into knockout rounds with teams from Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. TSG is a partner agency of the tournament, not its organiser.

How does my club take part in a tournament in Madrid?

TSG acts as your participation agency: we handle registration, travel, accommodation, transport, training around the fixtures and the on-the-ground coordination for the whole delegation. You arrive with a squad and a schedule; everything else is arranged.

What age categories does the Madrid Youth Cup have?

The Madrid Youth Cup is played in U14, U16 and U18 categories. Exact match dates differ per category and per edition, and registration closes months before the tournament, so confirm the current calendar with us before planning travel.

Is there anything on offer for standout players?

Yes. At the Madrid Youth Cup, the best player in each category wins an MVP scholarship: an all-inclusive training week with Rayo Vallecano, a LaLiga club.

Long-Stay Programmes

What long-stay programmes does TSG offer?

Three pathways: School, for players still in education who train in the afternoon and study in the morning; Gap Year, for athletes aged 17–20 between school and university; and University, a semester or summer format built around academic credit transfer. All are based in Madrid and run across the season, roughly September to May.

What does a training week look like on a long-stay programme?

Three tactical training sessions plus one competitive match every week — the rhythm of a professional environment. Sessions are led by UEFA-certified coaches at a 1:12 coach-to-player ratio and follow the TSG Method: positional play and decision-making under pressure, modelled on LaLiga academy systems.

Do long-stay players actually compete?

Yes. TSG players compete weekly against the academies of Madrid's professional and semi-professional clubs, within the Madrid regional federation — the deepest youth talent pool in Spain. Every fixture is a real test against academy-track opposition, not an exhibition match.

Where do long-stay players live?

At the ESC Campus residence in Madrid, in single or shared rooms, with full board. The School programme runs its dual-career model from the same campus: school in the morning, training in the afternoon.

Is there physical and medical support?

Yes. Strength, conditioning, recovery and load monitoring run to the standard used by elite-track players, and there is a dedicated physiotherapy facility for pre-session activation, post-session recovery and injury-prevention work programmed around each athlete's workload.

Do students get mental-health support?

Yes. Every long-stay TSG athlete has direct access to a dedicated sports psychologist, with confidential one-to-one sessions booked into the weekly schedule. Wellbeing is treated as part of performance, not an extra.

What language are sessions delivered in?

Coaching sessions are delivered in English, with Spanish naturally part of the environment. Spanish classes are also provided on all long-stay programmes (School, Gap Year, University) — alongside English lessons — so students leave Madrid bilingual.

Families & Sports Tourism

Do parents travel with the programme?

Yes, parents and relatives are welcome to travel alongside any programme, on their own accommodation and activity package so they follow the trip without affecting the squad's schedule.

What can travelling families do while the squad trains?

TSG builds the non-football programme too: Santiago Bernabéu and Metropolitano stadium tours, the football museum, guided tours of Madrid's landmarks, and tickets to a live LaLiga match. Packages are assembled around the group's dates and interests.

Can TSG organise a trip for a group that isn't competing?

Yes. Sports tourism packages are built for supporters, families, federations and mixed groups who want the Madrid football experience — stadiums, matches and city culture — without a training or competition programme attached.

Logistics & Working With TSG

What does all-inclusive mean?

It means accommodation, full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), airport pickup and daily transfers to every activity, the daily activity programme, and coordination of every activity by the TSG team on the ground. Premium extras such as video analysis or an aftermovie are optional add-ons.

What transport is included?

Airport pickup on arrival and departure, daily transfers between accommodation, training venues and activities, and matchday transport. Groups do not need to arrange local transport themselves.

Who supervises the group day to day?

TSG's own operations team, on the ground, for every activity — not a subcontracted local supplier. One point of contact coordinates training, meals, transport and activities for the whole stay.

Can my whole club or team participate?

Absolutely — TSG specialises in group programmes. We accommodate squads of any size across all accommodation options. Share your group size and we'll build a bespoke proposal.

Are all programmes available to female athletes?

Yes. Every TSG programme is open to female athletes, and there are dedicated women's programmes — training, competition and professional pathways for women's teams and individual players.

Do you work with travel partners and agencies?

Yes — TSG works alongside travel partners, sports tour operators, federations and academy directors. We handle all on-ground logistics; you focus on delivering the experience to your clients.
